One person has been killed while seven others have been abducted by bandits in Unguwar-Gajere village, in Birnin-Gwari local government area of Kaduna State.
According to reports, the bandits arrived on motorcycles around 1:pm and started shooting sporadically into the air. It was learned that the bandits kidnapped three women and rustled 50 cows from the village on Saturday.
According to a resident, Mohammed Birnin Gwari, “Three women, four men and several cows were rustled by the bandits after killing one person”.
As of the time of filing this report, the State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.
